This is the place I went to for a canoe trip on the second day of my trip to Ville de Québec (Quebec City). We went for a canoe trip with a guide as part of a package offered by the youth hostel where we were staying.
A short while after our canoe trip, we had some fun taking off our shoes and wading into the river. The water was freezing, but I got numb to the feeling after a while. I got my friend to take some snapshots of myself in the river.
On our third day in Quebec City, a guy we met on the canoe trip drove us down to see the Mont Morency Falls, about forty five minutes from the city. Later we went down to the bottom of the falls to take some photos of ourselves in the midst of the spray below. The only the that spoils this picture is the bridge that goes over the waterfall.
I think this is the parliament building--it's just about two minutes away from the youth hostel we stayed in. I missed this photo the other days, but I got one chance on the third day of the trip when the sun was out.
