Hi! Well, I've changed my homepage recently, and it's still under development. Nevertheless, I've just set up some photos of my trip to Montreal. I'll be here until late December or early January and I'll be arriving back in Singapore on the 7th of January (0645h, SQ23). This homepage, apparently, is catered more for those who know me, because I don't think most of my friends like to get huge email attachments. So if you don't know me and are just a visitor to this site, you might not find this site very much useful, unless you like my links.
This is about the third complete revamp of my home page, so I hope I'm getting better. I don't know Java and all those fancy stuff, but, I prefer to go more for simple styles because you can still make quite a good homepage and it forces me to go more for content than design. I haven't got that great a number of hits--shouldn't be more than 150 since December last year, but thanks for dropping by.
About me
Okay, here goes... I'm a student in the National University of Singapore, but I'm currently on exchange at McGill University in Montréal. As for my major, it looks like I'm heading somewhere towards mechanical or aeronautical engineering. I'm in my junior year (3rd year or U2 as it's called here at McGill) and I quite like the course I'm in because I'm learning lots of interesting stuff. As for hobbies, I go for outdoor recreation maybe cycling or swimming and perhaps a bit of blading. What I like most, though is to go somewhere and appreciate nature in all its beauty, which kind of explains the types of photos you see on this web page. That's why I've got this interest in hiking, and especially, climbing mountains, especially if the view at the top is great. What I wanted to was to go up north to Hudson Bay or Alaska and see polar bears and the northern lights, but it turns out to be quite expensive, even from within Canada. If this interest of mine continues, I hope to try scuba diving sometime, maybe at some reef and see all the fishes.
